Canton Police quickly nabbed a man accused of robbing a Bank of America branch Monday on Michigan Avenue west of Canton Center Road, according to a report by the Canton Observer.
According to the report, police received a call just after 9 a.m. that a man had entered the bank and produced a note demanding money. No weapon was implied, the report said.
The man fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, the report said, but was quickly stopped by police in the area.
According to the report, the man suspected of the robbery is homeless, but previously had a Canton address. Charges are pending, the report said.
