Canton Police Release Photos of Bank Robbery Suspect
Police are seeking help identifying the man suspected of robbing Best Bank inside the Canton Kroger on Michigan Avenue.
Canton Police released surveillance photos of the man believed to have robbed the Best Bank branch located inside the Michigan Avenue Kroger near Canton Center Road last Thursday.
The robbery happened during the day, around 12:45 p.m. on June 13, police said.
The photos show the man at the bank counter facing the teller while reaching under shirt. Police said the man requested cash from the teller and implied that he had a weapon. Other photos show the man walking through the store.
The man fled with an undisclosed amount of money before police arrived, according to a press release.
Police are asking anyone with information on the identity of the suspect to contact the Canton Police Department at 734/394-5400. Crime Stoppers will also take anonymous tips at 1-800-SPEAK UP, or online to www.1800speakup.org. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for a tip that leads an arrest.
