Copper Wiring Reported Stolen From 2 Plymouth Township Homes
The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
were dispatched Aug. 13 to Burning Tree Lane for a report of someone stealing copper wiring from two homes that were under construction, according to a police report.
A builder at one of the homes told police that between 4 p.m. on Aug. 9 and 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 10, someone entered both homes and stole the main copper wiring leads.
The builder told police he was notified of the theft by the electrician at the site.

Police sent an alert to scraptheftalert.com, a website tracking stolen scrap materials, the report said.
Catalytic converted reported stolen from vehicle
Plymouth Township Police met Aug. 15 with a woman at the station who said that between 1 a.m. on Aug. 12 and 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 15, someone took the catalytic converter from her vehicle parked in a carport at Newport Drive, according to a police report.

Police advised the woman to contact police if she observed any suspicious vehicles in her neighborhood.
