Crime Report: Flatbed Truck Reported Stolen From Plymouth Township Business

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

responded July 25 to , 47810 Galleon Drive, for a report of a stolen truck, according to a police report.

According to the report, the chief financial officer of the business told police someone took the company's white 2007 Ford flatbed truck. He told police the truck last was seen parked near the southwest corner of the building and said the keys were not with the vehicle.

The area where the truck was parked is equipped with video surveillance and no broken glass was found in the area, the report said. The CFO told police he had heard of other flatbed trucks being stolen from other businesses in the Metro Detroit area, the report said.

The truck is described as white with “TSFP” written in blue lettering, the report said.

Police have no suspects.

Damage reported to pick-up truck motorcycle

Plymouth Township Police were dispatched July 23 to McLane Food Services, 14835 Pilot Drive, for a report of damage to a motorcycle and pick-up truck, according to a police report.

The owner of the vehicles told police someone had cracked the speaker on his motorcycle and scraped the chrome trim lining the truck’s exterior, the report said. The man told police this has happened several times while the vehicles were parked at McLane Food Services, where he worked.

The man told police he does not know who damaged his property and does not know if he wishes to prosecute.

Police observed damaged chrome trim around the truck, but the man’s motorcycle was not at the scene to examine, the report said.
