Crime Report: iPhone, Money Taken From Car Overnight

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Plymouth Township Police responded April 26 to the 13000 block of Karl Drive for a report of a vehicle break-in, according to a police report.

According to the report, the vehicle owner told police that she noticed her vehicle had been broken into overnight and several personal items were taken, including a new Apple iPhone, some cash and several debit and credit cards. She told police she had left her vehicle unlocked overnight, the report said.

Police have no suspects.

Garage door damaged in apparent break-in attempt

Plymouth Township Police were dispatched April 26 to the 46000 block of Ann Arbor Trail for a report of a broken garage door, according to a police report.

The homeowners told police they believe someone tried breaking into the garage overnight. They told police their neighbors reported their dogs barking at 3:45 a.m., and the neighbors reported a broken windshield on one of their vehicles that occurred overnight, the report said.

According to the report, there were cracks along the door frame of the garage door, a possible indication of someone trying to force the door open with their shoulder.

Police have no suspects.
