Crime Report: Laptop Reported Missing from Car

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

were dispatched June 9 to the 47000 block of Tania Court for a report of items stolen from a vehicle, according to a police report.

The vehicle owner told police he parked his black Lincoln MKX in his driveway on June 9, left his keys in the ignition and locked the doors with the keyless entry pad on the driver side door.

When he returned to his vehicle, he noticed all of the items from his armrest were scattered on the passenger seat and his laptop bag, containing his black Dell laptop and accessories, was missing.

Additionally, the report said, the man’s briefcase had been thrown behind the house and all of its contents had been emptied onto the lawn. The vehicle owner did not report any damage to his car.

Police were unable to locate a point of forced entry or any other damage that might have occurred during the break-in. Police have no suspects.
