Crime Report: Man Arrested After Disposing of Marijuana in Front of Police

Two arrested for possession of marijuana
Canton Township police came upon a group of three men sitting a picnic table on the 5000 block of Edinburgh on July 16, who dropped something between the slats of the table as an officer approached.
According to the police report, a man disposed of a marijuana cigarette and another was carrying marijuana in his pocket. The two were arrested and another, who was not in possession of marijuana, was released.
Golf clubs stolen from car
A man reported to Plymouth Township police that golf clubs and equipment were stolen from his car on July 2.

According to police report, the theft on Lakewood Street left no damage to the car and the owner was unsure if it had been left unlocked or not.
