Crime Report: More Car Break-Ins Reported in Township

Plymouth Township Police met May 21 at the station with a man who said he had two items stolen from his vehicle overnight, according to a police report.

The incident was part of a rash of May 21.

The man told police he forgot to lock his vehicle after unloading his work items, the report said. He told police he was missing a Garmin GPS unit and a garage door opener, which is for the garage at his cottage.

Police have no suspects.

Sunglasses reported missing from car

Plymouth Township Police were dispatched May 21 to the 51000 block of North View for a report of six sunglasses taken from a car, according to a police report.

The vehicle owner told police she had six pairs of sunglasses stolen from her vehicle between 10:30 p.m. on May 20 and 8 a.m. on May 21, the report said. She told police she must have forgotten to lock the vehicle.
