Crime Report: Vehicle Owners Report Break-Ins in Plymouth Township

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Plymouth Township Police responded May 21 to the 51000 block of Weston for a report of a man who found a brown bag containing someone’s belongings, according to a police report.

When police searched the bag, they found several items with the name “Divine Desserts” and a phone number for the company. Police contacted the owner of the company, who owned a home at the 11000 block of Currin Court in Plymouth Township, who claimed ownership of the bag and said it must have been taken from her vehicle.

Police have no suspects.

Man reports iPods missing from car

Plymouth Township Police met May 21 with a man at Weston Drive for a report of iPods taken from a vehicle overnight, according to a police report.

The vehicle owner told police he parked his tan 2005 Ford Explorer in the driveway of Weston, but did not lock his vehicle, the report said.

The man told police someone took two iPod Nano devices and one iPod Touch, and someone appeared to have gone through the glove box and center console of the vehicle, the report said.

Police have no suspects.
