Crime Report: Vehicle Reported Missing from Driveway

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

were dispatched May 8 to the 13000 block of Portsmouth Crossing for a report of a stolen vehicle, according to a police report.

The vehicle owner told police he had parked his black 2012 Audi A7 in the driveway of his home at 9 p.m. on May 7 and found it missing the following morning, the report said.

The man told police his driveway is illuminated throughout the night and that his vehicle does not use an actual key, but instead uses a key fob to automatically lock and unlock its doors when someone holding the fob approaches the car.

The man told police he was not sure if he had left the keys in the vehicle or brought them into the house, the report said. He told police he might have left the keys on his kitchen counter and someone might have entered his home overnight to take the keys, the report said.

He told police the front door of his home was unlocked that morning, the report said.

Employee's tires reported slashed at CVS

Plymouth Township Police were dispatched May 10 to at 1400 S. Sheldon Road for a report of slashed tires, according to a police report.

The vehicle owner told police she left work at CVS at 2:17 a.m. and noticed two driver’s side tires on her car had been slashed.

She told police she had someone harassing her and who left a voicemail on her phone that said if she could not get to the vehicle owner, she would get to her car.

The woman told police she believes the person she suspects slashed her tires is mad at her because she believes the woman is having an affair with her tow truck driver husband.

Man reports license plate stolen from truck

Plymouth Township Police were dispatched May 11 to the 15000 block of Farmbrook Drive for a report of a stolen license plate, according to a police report.

The vehicle owner told police that he was unsure of when a license plate was stolen off his 2011 Ford Taurus, but he had noticed it missing when the truck was parked in his driveway at about 5 p.m., the report said.
