Have Old, Unwanted Medications? Plymouth Township Will Take Them

Drop off your expired medications at the Plymouth Tonwnship Police Department for free on April 27.

Those looking to get rid of their unused, unwanted, or expired medications can visit the Plymouth Township Police Department on April 27.

Plymouth Township Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration will coordinate efforts to remove potentially dangerous drugs from homes on the 6th National Take-Back Initiative. 

The National Take-Back Initiative (NTBI) provides an opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted and unused pharmaceuticals and other medication to law enforcement officers for the proper disposal, a press release said.

This will be a great opportunity for those who have missed the last event or have accumulated unused or unwanted prescription drugs, to safely dispose of them. Liquids and needles will be accepted.  

The drop off site for pharmaceuticals is the Plymouth Township Police Department located at 9955 N. Haggerty Rd. between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
