A woman crashed her Jeep into a neighbor's home in a Canton condominium complex Wednesday evening.

Police said nobody was injured in the accident, which happened on South Stonewood Street.

The driver said she started her car then put it into gear when it accelerated uncontrollably. She ended up crashing through the door wall of the home across the street, according to Sgt. Jim Harrison.

Lori Pimlott applauded Canton's first responders for their efforts.

"A shout out to Canton's finest police and fire/rescue for their quick arrival at this home in Canton last night," she wrote in an email to Patch.

Headline: Jeep crashes into cond. what about the driver? Didn't he do the actual crashing? Did the Jeep just take it upon itself to drive off and crash into the condo. If so I hope our esteem politicians are working through some bills to add an expensive task force to investigate these dangerous SUVs.
