This following information was provided by the Canton Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

were dispatched to , 39500 Ford Road, for a report of a woman telling a dispatcher her brother was in a Chevy Malibu in the store parking lot with a friend, possibly inhaling pressurized duster, according to a police report.

Police pulled up behind the car and an officer immediately spotted the caller’s brother, whom he had encountered two days earlier for suspected use of inhalants, the report said. When police approached the vehicle, they saw the man with a can of Ultra Duster-brand Industrial Strength Multi-Purpose Duster in his mouth, the report said.

Neither the man nor his friend would unlock the vehicle for police, so an officer reached in through an opening in the window and unlocked the door and took the duster can, the report said.

Canton fire officials arrived and took the man to a local hospital for treatment and so he could speak with someone about his apparent problem with inhalants, the report said.
