Plymouth Township Woman Reports Break-In

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Plymouth Township Police responded Dec. 28 to Van Buren Drive for a report of breaking and entering, according to a police report.

A woman at the home told police someone broke into her shed, stealing her Honda lawnmower, various Craftsman tools and a circular saw, according to the report.

The woman told police she noticed the items missing when she went to retrieve a shovel from her shed on Dec. 27, the report said. She told police she had padlocked the door before heading out of town for a week before she noticed the items missing and that the padlock was now missing.

Police have no suspects.

Woman reports broken vehicle window

Plymouth Township Police responded Dec. 28 to Plymouth Road for a report of a broken window, according to a police report.

A woman at the residence told police she had been driving her boyfriend's 2003 Ford Escort while her own car underwent repairs, the report indicated. The woman told police she had parked the vehicle at about 6 p.m. on Dec. 27 and returned at about 6:45 a.m. the following day to notice the driver's side window had been shattered.

The woman told police she does not know who might have broken the window, the report indicated.

Police were unable to find any evidence or witnesses.
