Plymouth Township Woman Reports Debit Card Fraud

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Plymouth Township Police met Jan. 28 with a woman at the station reporting a case of debit card fraud, according to a police report.

The woman told police someone used her debit card number to make a Jan. 23 purchase at a Speedway gas station in Clinton Township.

The woman told police she was in possession of her card and did not know who might have used her card number.

The woman told police she discovered the fraudulent charge while checking her account balance online.

The woman canceled her card, the report indicated.
