Plymouth Township Woman's Purse Stolen While Heading to Grand Rapids

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

A Plymouth Township woman's purse was stolen from a vehicle the evening of Nov. 26 while on a road trip to Grand Rapids, according to a Plymouth Township Police report.

The woman said she was the passenger in a green 2000 Chevy Malibu with her mother, the report said. She said they were parked at pump two at the Speedway gas station, 15255 North Sheldon Road, where she and her mother went inside, at which point she believes her purse was taken, according to the report. She said the vehicle was not locked when they went inside, the report said.

The woman said they made one other stop on their way to Grand Rapids — the rest area off of I-96 between mile marker 112 and 113, and thinks it's possible that her purse was taken from that location, according to the report.
