The following information was provided by Plymouth Township Police. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.
Plymouth Township Police responded Feb. 15 to CVS, 1400 S. Sheldon Road in Plymouth Township for a report of a woman stealing about 10 bottles of premium vodka from the store, according to a police report.
A CVS employee told police he was working at the register when he saw a woman exit the store with a large black bag or purse, when she set off the store’s theft alarm. When he asked for the woman to come back into the store, she ran to a nearby vehicle, which drove onto westbound Ann Arbor Road, the report indicated.
According to the report, the woman was seen on video surveillance removing about 10 bottles of Ciroc, a high-end vodka valued at about $35 per bottle, from the top shelf of an aisle of the store and placing them into a shopping cart.
