Unknown Man Nabs Woman's Purse in Plymouth Township Kroger

A 50-year-old Plymouth Township woman reported her purse stolen out of her shopping cart at the Kroger on Ann Arbor Road, according to a police report. 

The woman told police that she was shopping near the meat and cheese department inside Kroger and left her purse inside the shopping cart to grab groceries when she heard a noise near her cart. When she turned, she saw an unknown man walking away very fast with her purse, the report said. 

The woman said she yelled out, "He has my purse," and another customer started to chase the man, who threw the purse on the ground and ran out of the store, the report said. 

The woman described the man as about 18-years-old, 5'10", with a thin build, no facial hair and acne. He was wearing a red and white winter hat.
