Windows Smashed Out of Cars at Dick Scott Collision in Plymouth Township

Police say this is the fourth time cars have been vandalized overnight at the business in recent months.

On Dec. 11, Dick Scott Collision reported that the passenger side window of a customer's car had been smashed out during the night, according to a police report. 

The window of the car was smashed and the window frame dented, but no property was missing from within the car, the report said.

the car had been parked against the north fence of the business, in a secured parking lot. The fencing on the north side of the lot was cut, the report said.

According to the report, there have been four prior incidents of windows being smashed in the secured lot over the past 10 months. 

The company is paying for the repair of the damage to the customer's car, which will cost approximately $200 to replace the smashed out window and another $200 to fix the dented door, the report said.
