Woman Charged With Embezzling $400,000 from Plymouth Business

The Canton woman is accused of stealing the money from a Plymouth software consulting company.

Canton resident Erica L. Mansfield is scheduled to appear in 35th District Court on Friday on charges that she embezzled more than $465,000 from her employer, according to an article in the Observer & Eccentric.

The article states that the woman worked as a part-time administrative assistant at AspenTech Consulting Group in Plymouth from 2006 until she was fired in the summer of 2012.

If convicted of the felony, Mansfield could face up to 20 years in prison.
