Woman Reports Car Break-In at Plymouth Township Apartment Complex

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Plymouth Township Police responded Dec. 15 to an apartment complex on Lilley Road for a report of a theft from a vehicle, according to a police report.

The vehicle owner told police she went to retrieve something from her vehicle at 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 14 and left the driver’s side door unlocked, according to the report.

The woman told police when she returned to her vehicle at 8 a.m. on Dec. 15, she saw someone had rummaged through paperwork and other belongings in her vehicle, the report said, and some coins were missing from the center console of her car.

The woman told police she does not know who might have entered the vehicle, the report indicated.
