Woman Reports Possible Break-In Attempt at Apartment

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Plymouth Township Police responded Nov. 4 to apartments at Wilcox Road for a report of suspicious circumstances concerning a possible breaking and entering, according to a police report.

A woman at the residence told police someone apparently tried to break into her apartment and that there was minor damage to her main door and its frame.

The woman told police her brother left her apartment at about 10 p.m. on Nov. 3 and she went to sleep not long afterwards, the report said, and did not see or hear anyone overnight.

The woman told police she saw the main entrance to the building had been left wide open and police observed apparent pry marks on the woman’s door, the report said.

Police instructed the woman to contact her landlord to inform them of the incident. Police have no suspects.
