Candidates File for Board of Education, City Commission Seats

Four file for four City Commission seats, 16 file for four school board seats.

Sixteen candidates met the 4 p.m. filing deadline today for the Nov. 8 election to run for Plymouth-Canton Community Schools' , according to a list provided by the .

Incumbents Steven M. Sneideman of Canton, John T. Jackson of Canton, Dianne Gonzalez of Plymouth and Nancy Eggenberger of Canton will face 12 challengers for the election.

Among the school board candidates is current Plymouth City Commissioner John Barrett, who will not seek another term on the Commission.

Also running are Mike Andro, Matt Dame, Stephanie Goecke, Mark Horvath, Michael Maloney, Abdul Muhiuddin, Clifton R. Nealy, John Nichols, Sheila Paton, Michael Redman and Angie Williams-Chehmani. 

In the City of Plymouth, there are four candidates seeking four City Commission seats Nov. 8, according to the . Commissioner Ed Hingelberg and Mayor Pro-Tem Mike Wright look to retain their seats, while Diane Bogenrieder and current Planning Commission member Meg Dooley run for seats that will be vacated by Commissioners Barrett and David Workman, who are not running this fall.
