Canton Board to Consider Banning Spice, K2

Trustees to consider emergency ban of synthetic hallucinogenic drugs at Tuesday meeting.

The Canton Township Board of Trustees will consider Tuesday an emergency ban on the possession, use and trafficking of K2, Bath Salts, Spice and other synthetic hallucinogenic drugs often sold at retail.

The drugs have been cited in a number of both locally and nationally and police departments in Plymouth, Canton and Northville townships are urging retailers to .

The meeting is 7 p.m. Tuesday at the , 1150 S. Canton Center Road.
