The following items are updates on cases in the 35th District Court, which serves Plymouth, Canton and Northville. Not all items, unless otherwise noted, reflect guilty pleas or convictions.

Joseph Michael Colombo, 28, Canton

• Charged with possession of marijuana in Canton on June 7, 2011
• Pleaded guilty to the charge
• Referred to the probation department for a presentencing interview and report

Robert Brendon-Massey Blase, 31, Plymouth

• Presentencing interview for violation of the public health code for possession of drug paraphernalia
• Failed to appear for his hearing
• A bench warrant was issued for his arrest

Shannon Colleen Hamill–Stubbs, 32, Redford

• Pretrial hearing for a charge of retail fraud committed in Canton on May 6, 2011
• Pleaded guilty to the charge
• Assessed a $628 fine
• Sentenced to six months non-reporting probation

Cecil James Montgomery, 27, Detroit

• Charged with weapons possession in Plymouth Township on Aug. 10, 2011
• Pleaded guilty to the charge
• Assessed a $548 fine
• Sentenced to 18 days in jail and six months non-reporting probation

Darrell Adams, 50, Detroit

• Charged with theft committed in Canton on June 19, 2009
• Pleaded not guilty
• A pretrial hearing was held where defendant requested a court appointed attorney
• Failed to appear at the hearing

Colleen Francis Cook, 49, Hartland

• Charged with simple larceny committed in Canton on September 9, 2011
• Pleaded guilty to the charge
• Assessed a $488 fine
