Fun at the Farmers Market, live music on Monday and a slew of meetings.

1. This week, Bob Skon and The Refreshments are scheduled to be "on the porch" at Canton's Farmers Market — the live music is set to start at 11; the market hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Preservation Park, 500 N. Ridge Rd.

2. , 7676 N. Canton Center Rd., is helping collect diapers for the Detroit Area Diaper Driver. Bins will be available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday through July 31. What's needed: Diapers and pull-ups of any brand and size, baby through adult new, open and partial packages are accepted.

3. meetings this week include the planning commission at 7 p.m. Monday; the township trustees at 7 p.m Tuesday and the 7 p.m. Thursday. 4. You could say summer's outdoor music season is in full swing with the debut of Music in the Village at 6:30 p.m. Monday, on the lawn of the historic Cherry Hill School. This week's show features the Tony Ruda Jazz Ensemble. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair.
