1. Canton's board of trustees is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. today at the . Among the agenda items: a resolution honoring for Greg Hester, who retired June 1 after 21 years as the township's lead maintenance technician. The board will also consider approving a 5-year, 100-percent tax abatement for Canton Renewables, a company which converts landfill gases to fuel.
