Three: Miracle League of Plymouth reports a tentative opening day of Aug. 20 but the need is still great: $61,202.58 total to complete the work. So far, land is purchase at $300,000 and field construction, an $800,000 project, is underway. The volunteers have so far raised $1,038,797.42 If you have any spare cash to support this project, contact the volunteers online via Facebook or the league's website.

Four: Michigan Rep. Kurt Heise, R-Plymouth tells Patch (by way of the Canton Patch Facebook page) he'll hold district office hours on Monday in Northville, Wayne and Plymouth. Details:
- 10 to 11 a.m. Northville District Library, 212 W. Cady St., Northville;
- 1 to 2 p.m. Wayne Community Center, 4635 Howe Road, Wayne; and
- 3 to 4 p.m. Plymouth District Library, 223 S. Main St., Plymouth.
