3: If you believe in a celebration and that we can be free, celebrate with the U2 tribute band, Zooropa, which takes the Heritage Park stage to open the Canton Thursday Concert Series at 7:30 p.m. today.  is located between  and the  building. Free (donations appreciated), but bring your own blanket and weather gear.

Four: Fans of the late volleyball coach Kim Renzi can help raise money to fight the disease that took her life, melanoma from 4 to 7 p.m. today. That's when , 45510 Michigan Ave. and the Canton Relay for Life Team, "Blocking Out Melanoma," are hosting a fundraiser. The restaurant will donate 10 percent of the proceeds from food sales to the Relay for Life Team, which raises money for cancer research.

Five: Are you ready for some strawberries? Start planning now for the Belleville National Strawberry Festival kicks off Friday. Saturday's festival parade is 11  a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Belleville and the party wraps on Sunday.
