"The DWSD is a hot button issue right now, especially in light of the ever changing landscape connected to the City of Detroit,” Heise said in a news release. “We all want the most efficient and effective water authority possible, and this town hall is a great opportunity to have a discussion regarding the real impact of water and sewer rates on the hardworking citizens of Southeast Michigan."
