How Much Do Township Officials Earn?

Township officials were asked Monday how much they earn each year.

Amid the debate over Plymouth Township's fire budget, the issue of firefighter pay has been addressed by township officials.

Earnings of township firefighters in 2010, including their overtime and benefits, have been distributed to the public by the township and are available year-round on the Plymouth Township website.

At a public hearing Monday regarding a fire millage that will be on the February 2012 ballot, several residents called on township officials to share their own earnings. This information also is posted and available to the public year-round.
