What made you decide to seek office/re-election?:

• Give service to a great community.
• Improve fiscal responsibility.
• Lower water rates.
• Reduce government cost.
• Increase revenue without increasing taxes.

What issues do you see affecting the township? / What is your plan to address those issues?:

 Loss of revenue due to depreciating property values during the recession.

• Align compensation retirement plans for elected officials and employees with the private sector.
• Corporate and personal sponsorship of township parks/events/activities.
• Give incentives to businesses to start-up/expand, to spur commercial growth and employment.
• Sell unused property township owns. This will put them back on tax rolls.
• Limit spending to revenue acquired.
• Fully fund pension plans and other liabilities.
• Balance budget.

Water and sewer rates are too high. Total bill raised little over 60% since 2008.

• Reduce water usage during peak hours.
• Construct water tanks/towers. Towers can be used as cellular sight, to offset the cost of tower installation and maintenance.
• Explore working with other communities for water/sewage.
• Explore drilling wells.
