Hey wait.... isn't this local government run by Republicans? I thought they wanted less government regulation and not more. It looks to me like the local authorities are just picking on this particular establishment. It also appears those "republican" ideals only apply when its something the republicans want.

The local government in the City of Plymouth is nonpartisan. This particular establishment is under scrutiny after numerous liquor-related violations.

ya, I don't care what party runs the government. Establishments like this one need to be taken care of. It puts a bad image on the community, especially when eventually some high school kid with a fake drives home drunk from it.

The Plymouth Roc is a great neighborhood grille and bar. It is being scrutinized, and really discriminated upon for an advertisement it had no part in releasing. The City of Plymouth made allegations that the bar had not followed its agreement with the Plymouth City Commission, after an ad from an independent vendor distributed in promoting a radio station and how it markets itself promoted college night there. The issue has been resolved. The Plymouth Roc did not do anything wrong, yet has now received more negative publicity due to excessive government regulation, and again falsely. I encourage more local residents to support the Plymouth Roc, its a great place relax. Stop in and try out there great menu. The gals(Servers) are great. Trivia night is really popular. I look forward to this falls Blues and Jazz venues, and the weekly "Big Band" that is really great. If you like Quesidillas, Plymouth Roc has the best. They are my favorite. Stop in sometime, relax and unwind.

I agree Paul! It is a great place and has NEVER struck me as anything but a family type establishment. That's why I am appalled that they are targeting it.
