Oh no!!!! Our King, Lord, Tyrant, Dictator, BAMF Ron Edwards will rule over his kingdom for another 4 years!!!! I just wish there was someway for the people of Plymouth Township to voice their opinion....... oh wait, the people of Plymouth actually want Tyrant Edwards in office? Thats weird. Mr. Bentley has made it seem over the past six months that no one wanted Mr. Edwards in office. Guess Bentley was wrong.............. AGAIN!! I told you this was going to happen a week ago and yet I am still surprised at how happy I am about you losing............ AGAIN!!!

I recently stumbled upon video evidence of Richard and Ron coming up with a plot to screw over the citizens of Plymouth Township. Please view this video and tell me if this is conclusive evidence of their planned misdeeds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBkT19uH2RQ&feature=related

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I LOVE those guys! And yes, it looks pretty conclusive to me!

Well Don, he probably has a pretty severe stomach ache from having to eat so much crow. Or maybe he's busy packing (we could only be so lucky). My guess is he's leaving the country after the results of last night's presidential election.

Wasn't it Bryan that said Doroshewitz had committed political suicide with his comments about the sign issue? Looks like someone else got the last laugh this morning.

Just curious...having grown up in Plymouth and been living in Ply-Canton for my entire 35 years of life, has a Democrat EVER won an election in Plymouth Township? I mean, the title implies that it was close...or ever has been close.
RIGHT VS WRONG November 07, 2012 at 11:24 PM
I would believe that most Ply Twp voters haven't seen the Ron Edwards U-tube videos of "9-1-1"; or "Clerk Assault"; or the Channel 7 Video of the Twp. Supervisor, "stealing" signs. If that's the behavior that Ply Twp Residents want from their elected officials, so be it.
Good Vs Evil November 08, 2012 at 12:03 AM
It is as very sad day for Plymouth Township. Evil has prevailed over good. The candidates that were elected last night did not deserve to be re-elected. With the exception of one. Chuck Curmi may be the only board member who will expose Supervisor Reaume, and Treasurer Edwards, and there misdoings throughout the next four years. The political process in Plymouth Township is broken, and voters do not have the a publication in this town to share with them the truth of the detriment this leadership is bringing upon this once prosperous community. I have heard that the FBI is still around investigating Plymouth Township's elected officials. There have been to many conflicts of interest in which elected officials have used there positions to distribute contracts to vendors without a bidding process, backroom deals that have violated labor laws, and even the possibility that there were gifts, and promises of financial contributions to campaigns, with the expectation of future contracts. Its pay to play politics that will lead to grand jury's, indictments, and convictions. Just like with Ficano. Plymouth Township politicians are not immune from the fact that absolute power corrupts, absolutely. As a resident for over 30 years, I am disgusted that in the fight between good vs. evil, evil has prevailed. I will pray for better days in Plymouth Township.

#1 Should have built new hall on existing property, built smaller. Knew of the impending decline in residential tax revenues. They selfishly ignored advisors repeated warnings #2 Voted to change pension plans, that created the legacy costs we have today with the fire fighters. Edwards promoted the pension plan. Go back and look at the vote. Chuck Curmi showed me. Edwards created the entire mess. #3 Botched land deal for $600,000 that township officials had no business investing tax dollars in. Lost tax dollars! #4 Investing $500,000 in Hilltop golf course. A municipal golf course is not what our tax dollars should be spent on, while closing fire departments and laying off fire fighters. The course should be sold off, and developed into a residential neighborhood. Generating additional revenue. #5 The lack of communication skills to work out a deal to continue shared services with The city. The dismantling of our fire department, a department that offered substantial cuts. THat could have kept our advanced life support department, unchanged. A selfish decision, to avenge the support the firefighters gave to another candidate in the 2008 election. Yes vengeance! #6 A $350,000 warming station for sledders at McClumpha park? #7 An FBI investigation lurking over Township officials. What is the FBI investigating and why? Are any of those reasons good enough to expect new leadership in Plymouth TWP? In the fight between Good Vs. Evil, evil has prevailed in this election.

There is NO FBI investigation of the township board. None. a rumor cooked up by the firefighters and their cronies. How about the firefighters and the police offer to end their pensions for all new hires and we can then stabalize both? Evil was defeated by not having special interest Democrats elected. The current board serves ALL the citizens, not just the firefighter groupies and malcontents. Evil and fear-mongering were deafeated at the polls on Tuesday.

As owners of a twp. business, both neighboring companies told us about the investigation that the feds have been working with several township businesses that have willingly turned over information. They shared with us that the investigation involves kick backs, or bribes. So it must be real. How did they know about it? Grand jury indictments take years. Don't think it can happen, look at Ficano. This investigation may be tied into that. Good vs evil makes good points, in 1-6, you didn't argue with those. My wife and I think our leaders have a poor sense of priorities. A 350,000 warming station for sledders? My tax dollars being allocated for that! 500,000 on carts for a community golf course. Isan't a private company running that, for profit? And we are subsidizing new carts, and renovations? Investing in land at 600,000? Where does it allow in our charter, the use of tax dollars to invest in land? And a failed land deal. That needs to be investigated. No bid contracts, unfair labor practices, etc. Our twp. is out of control. Because what my wife and I have learned from the patch, we will be attending more twp. meetings, and holding our leaders accountable. Reckless spending! As for all those comments here that criticize others for informing residents of what has been taking place inside township hall. If you were open minded you would commend that someone would care enough to spend the time informing the people. Your attempts to discredit those who speak the truth is sad.

I personally know one of the Trustees, and that person has never heard a peep about it. So if anyone is being investigated, I guess it would be the full time officials since the Trustees are part time and not involved in the day to day operations. As for the outgoing clerk, he has always played both sides, leaking confidential contract info, and pandering to all. He probably started the FBI rumor. The bottom line, if there is a secret FBI investigation, how come only you and some source know about it- very convenient and FALSE. Please stop writing yoru make beleive rumors and ramblings unless you have actual proof, not the words of the Clerk who always has an agenda or axe to grind..
Jake Wellborn November 08, 2012 at 10:35 PM
It's not fact, just rumors. Patch is a one sided account of happenings. Get real. Patch is a blog for conspiracy theorists. What a joke! People, get your own facts and see what fools Bentley and Schulz really are. It's all phony fact less fear mongering.
Jake Wellborn November 08, 2012 at 10:57 PM
Paul Schulz is a moron, he attacks when people state facts Perhaps he has too much time on his hands with mo election signs to steal. Maybe his time out of rehab should be cut. He definitely need his meds adjusted Not sure if took should take your meds with a case of beer. Better check with your crack supplier.
