Voters Gather for Presidential Debate Viewing Party in Dearborn (VIDEO)

Patch hosted a presidential debate viewing party Wednesday at Good Times Caffe in Dearborn.

Wednesday night was the first debate between presidential candidates Democrat Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney. 

Patch hosted a debate viewing party Wednesday at Good Times Caffe in Dearborn to understand what issues are important to small business owners and local community members.

The focus of the debate was domestic policy and was divided into six time segments of 15 minutes each. The candidates answered questions about taxes, job growth, federal regulation of the economy, social security and health care.

While all were welcome, the majority of attendees at the debate viewing party were Obama supporters. 

Obama and Romney will have two more debates later in October. The second debate will be in a town meeting format including topics on foreign and domestic policy.
