Cold Weather Closes Plymouth-Canton Schools Tuesday

School officials have cancelled classes due to bitterly cold temperatures.

With below zero temperatures and wind chills expected to dip well into double digits, Plymouth-Canton School officials have canceled classes Jan. 28. 

All buildings will be closed, and all activities are cancelled for Tuesday, according to the district website

The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts a low of -7 Monday night and high of just 3 degrees on Tuesday. Add in winds blowing at 10-15 miles per hour, and the potential exists for wind chills falling to 30-35 degrees below zero. 

Dangerously low wind chills will persist through Wednesday morning, according to the NWS.
