Plymouth-Canton Marching Band Informational Meeting

The Plymouth-Canton Marching Band (PCMB) is looking for new members for the 2011 season. The high school students in the band have an exciting year ahead; they will march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

Current band members and staff will host informational meetings this spring for students and parents who are interested in learning more about the band program. Parents will also hear more about the ongoing fundraising efforts to send the band to New York at little or no cost to the families. These meetings will be on Tuesday, April 5th and Tuesday, May 17th at 7 p.m. in the Plymouth High School band room (near the big yellow semi-trailer). You only need to attend one meeting. Students in 8th grade and other incoming student musicians and dancers are strongly encouraged to learn more about the band program; it's a wonderful chance to get involved in a school activity and start the year off with a group of friends.
