Vote, start a blog and support Plymouth-Canton Educational Park's student radio station, WSDP.

1. Vote

Voters in can cast ballots from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and choose four candidates for Plymouth-Canton Community Schools Board of Education. For precinct details and more on candidates, visit Canton Patch's voting guide.

2. WSDP Pledge Drive

A fundraiser for Plymouth-Canton Educational Park's student radio station 88.1FM is underway through Saturday. The student broadcasters are hosting special guests, playing unique music, delivering news and talking sports.

In exchange for your donation, you will receive an 88.1FM Logo pack with pen, button and bumper sticker ($15); a ticket to a game plus and 88.1FM travel mug ($40); a pair of tickets to see A Christmas Carol at Trinity House Theatre in Livonia in December ($88); a one hour radio show on WSDP — you select the music and serve as host ($365); a spot on WSDP's honor wall outside and all of the previously mentioned items ($1,000).

3. Bloggers Wanted

If you have a hobby — or are responsible for getting news out about your community group or project — consider starting a blog at Canton Patch. 4. Women's Expo

Canton's 2011 Women's Expo is set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Summit on the Park, 46000 Summit Parkway. Nearly 50 vendors will showcase jewelry, skin care, accessories, gifts, food and home decor.

5. Salute to Service

Canton Township's annual Salute to Service program for Veterans Day is set for 6 p.m. Nov. 11 at . The evening is devoted to honoring those who serve n the U.S. Armed Forces. This free program is open to the public.
