Free Tutoring Program with Plymouth-Canton National Honor Society Students Returns to Libraries

Tutoring will run Oct. 7 through May 23 and is available for students in third grade through high school.

After helping more than 3,000 students last year, Plymouth-Canton Educational Park (P-CEP) National Honor Society students will once again offer its free tutoring program.

This is the fourth year of the program, which was awarded a national commendation through the Canton Public Library last year.

In an effort to improve programming, the National Honor Society is in the process of devising an online appointment system at the Plymouth District Library, where parents can schedule half hour appointments with the hope that it will encourage regular enough attendance to transform the tutoring into mentoring.  Otherwise, appointments are 15-minutes and on a first-come, first served basis.

Tutoring will run Oct. 7 through May 23 and is available for students in third grade through high school at both the Plymouth and Canton libraries.
