Plymouth-Canton Marching Band's annual Great Lakes Invitational, at on Saturday, featured 10 bands from Southeast Michigan. Results of the Michigan Competing Band Association-sanctioned event determines who advances to state finals, set for Saturday Nov. 5 at Ford Field in Detroit.

The Plymouth-Canton Marching Band includes students from Plymouth, Canton and Salem High schools and is led by David Armbruster, Jonathan Thomann and other professionals. The three-time Grand National Champions at the Bands of America National Competition holds more than 500 awards earned over 20 years, including 22 Michigan Competing Band Association state titles.

On Thanksgiving, the Plymouth-Canton Marching Band will be perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Learn more at www.pcmb.net.
