Plymouth-Canton Art Show Set for April 27-28

Art exhibit dedicated to late PCCS teacher Kathy Levi.

Plymouth-Canton Community Schools' fifth annual K-12 Art Show is set to kick off April 27 at the Plymouth High School cafeteria, 4800 Beck Road in Canton.

This year’s Art Show takes place over two days, 4-8 p.m. on April 27 and 1-4 p.m. on April 28, and admission is a suggested donation of $5 at the door.

The exhibit will feature over 2,000 pieces of student artwork, which are selected by the district's visual art staff. Professional jurors will select winning entries based on composition, creativity, focus, craftsmanship, and technique.

Celebrity judges, including elected officials, community arts supporters, and PCCS VIPs, will select pieces based on their own personal criteria.

The show also features the talents of the PCEP culinary students, who have prepared desserts for attendees, and members of the PCEP Music Department, who will perform throughout the show. Artwork created by members of the P-CEP visual art staff will be available for purchase through a silent auction, which will close at 3:45 p.m. on April 28.
