Plymouth-Canton administrator Brodie Killian makes cut of five finalists.

The Plymouth-Canton Board of Education is closer to finding its new superintendent, naming five finalists gathered by search firm Ray & Associates, according to the Canton Observer.

According to the report, one finalist comes from within the district: Brodie Killian, Plymouth-Canton Community Schools' executive director of business services.

The other candidates include:

  • Christopher Timmis, superintendent of Adrian Public Schools.
  • Curtis Cain, associate superintendent for educational services for Shawnee Mission School District in Overland Park, KS.
  • Michael Meissen, supervisor of school improvement and student achievement for Milwaukee Public Schools in Milwaukee, WI.
  • Rick Mills, chief executive officer for Minneapolis Public Schools in Minneapolis, MN.
