Plymouth Wildcats Hosting Toy Drive Friday for Bottomless Toy Chest

Team, boosters accepting donations during Friday's varsity football game and at Trading Post in Plymouth.

The Plymouth Wildcats football team and boosters are hosting a toy and activity drive for the Bottomless Toy Chest through this week, according to an email by Booster President Todd McCall. 

The Bottomless Toy Chest is a non-profit organization devoted to delivering art projects, crafts and interactive toys to children hospitalized with cancer in the Detroit Metro area hospitals, McCall wrote. These toys or activities provide a simple, therapeutic way to redirect these children's thoughts away from the stressful and painful battle against cancer.

Items were accepted at the Plymouth freshmen and JV games on Sept. 13 and will be accepted at the Plymouth varsity game on Sept. 21, McCall wrote.
