Seniors, Choose Carefully; the Decision You Make About College Will Have Lifelong Effects

So, where should you turn? Community college may offer a chance to save some money, but is that the best academic choice. A current college student offers some navigational tips for high school seniors as they work through a maze of choices.

Just a few years ago, Arielle Hines was wearing the same shoes as incoming high school seniors are: She was about to make the most important decision of her young life.

“You may not want to hear this, but the college you chose will honestly set the tone for the rest of your life,” she writes in a blog post on Plymouth-Canton Patch. “There are going to be a million people that are going to give you a million pieces of advice. Most of these people will have no background in higher education, keep up-to date with the current studies or have attended college in the last 20 years.”
