The following is a list of important dates, times and events to remember for Plymouth-Canton parents. Much of this information comes from the district's back-to-school website, as well as other district resources. We have compiled this list for convenient access to the information parents need to know.

Dates to remember

This list will be updated once Plymouth-Canton Community Schools releases its 2011-12 calendar, but here are some initial dates to mark on your calendar:

• Sept. 6 — First day for students
• Dec. 24-Jan. 8 — Winter break
• April 6-15 — Spring break
