Wayne-Westland School Board Seats Filled

The two open seats on the Wayne-Westland Board of Education were filled Tuesday when voters elected Andrea Clawson and Thomas Buckalew as the new trustees.

Among the schools in the district is Canton’s Walker-Winter Elementary.

Clawson, a Westland resident, and Buckalew, a Wayne resident, will begin their four-year terms on July 1.

Of the votes cast by Canton voters, Clawson had 110 and Buckalew recieved 114.
