Canton Boys Basketball Ousted in Regional Semifinal
Canton's run for the state title ended Monday.
Canton High School's hopes of winning a boys basketball regional title were squashed Monday night when the team lost to Ypsilanti, 77-64.
The team advanced to the regional semifinal after beating Plymouth High School Friday night, 47-32, to win the district title.
The Chiefs had defeated Novi, 49-24, and Salem, 57-49, to advance to the district finals.

The team ends the season with a 17-7 record.
Ypsilanti now goes on to play in the regional final against South Lyon on Wednesday night.
