The Canton High School girls basketball team has earned a spot in the district final against Novi at Northville High School on Friday night.
The Chiefs defeated South Lyon, 49-36, to advance. Novi defeated Plymouth, 52-42, in the first semifinal.
Friday's winner advances to a regional at Canton High School. The winners of district 17 at Ann Arbor Pioneer, district 25 at Farmington and district 26 at Hartland will move on to the regional at Canton. Follow the tournament results here.
