Canton High Boys Soccer: KLAA Champs

The Chiefs begin state tournament matches today at home against Ann Arbor Skyline.

Canton High School's boys soccer team begins a drive today for a state title, opening with a game against Ann Arbor Skyline at 5 p.m. at Canton.

The Chiefs earned the Kensington Lakes Activities Association championship with a 3-0 win over Walled Lake Northern on Wednesday. In that match, Mitch Pepper scored two goals, Tyler Winningham made two assists, and Connor Furgason finished with one goal and one assist. Goalie Steven Murphy made nine saves.

Canton finishes the regular season 17-1-2.
