Canton Wrestlers Second in KLAA

Chiefs reach final, fall to Hartland.

The  wrestling team finished second to Hartland, 37-23, for the Kensington Lakes Activities Association championship Monday night.

Hartland (25-2) beat Waterford Kettering, 77-3, in the first semifinal and Canton topped Novi, 50-19 in the second semifinal.

The Chiefs (24-5) got wins from Braden Price (171 pounds), Anthony Abro (189), Ben Poirier (215), Robert Griffin (103), Alec Pantaleo (119) and Alex Eimers (135) in the loss to Hartland.

Novi beat Kettering, 72-6, in the third-place match.
